Too cute January 9, 2006 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
My son loves how all of a sudden the train "disappears" and then reappears at the bottom.
Lots of fun - no problems so far January 3, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a nice accessory, which my 2.5 y/o son has really enjoyed. Our Thomas and Imaginarium trains have never gotten stuck in the trap door, which had been mentioned by other reviewers, and our trap door does open both ways, so we can reverse directions as desired. I would recommend it.
This one has been a big hit for two years now! October 17, 2004 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
It is a simple design but for some reason that little door flap that the trains race through as they come down the hill is a joy for kids to see. This one has been played with for two years now and is good as new.
Get's stuck July 11, 2004 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
My son loves watching the trains come crashing through the tunnel trap door. But the smoke stack on the trains gets stuck in the small hole in the door. I taped a piece of brown construction paper on the inside of the door to fix the problem.
A tunnel of fun! November 1, 2003 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
My son has almost every bridge and tunnel made by Thomas, and this one rates among his favorite. He calls it the "spooky tunnel" and belly laughs each time the trains come shooting out the trap door. It is also a goof financial value since it does not cost any more than the basic ones. The only time we have had a problem with trains getting stuck is when we tried to use it with non-Thomas tracks (we have a few from the set out table came with). But with the Thomas tracks, it works fine. Just be warned that you can't back trains in through the door because it only opens one way.
