good gun September 28, 2008 this gun's a good one it shoots very far i got mine at Target and it has a jam door you might see it when you colk it it a black door the part of the gun you put on your sholder is'nt very strong there's a flash light and a lazor on it too but it's a very good long ranged gun but my dog barks at it and tries to chew up my bullets but you can buy more bye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A nice blaster with a few drawbacks September 24, 2008 I've been using Recons around the office for general nerfing for quite awhile now. I think how much you'll like it depends on use.
I find the power is pretty good. Many people have complained about the barrel extension, but I've found it somewhat handy to leave it on. At super-close range, when people try to grab the gun, you can just twist it off and hit them anyway (always fun).
The main drawbacks: - You really can't leave the rounds in the clip. They'll get deformed and not really work right. I highly recommend leaving no more than 3 rounds in it, then loading more right before a raid. - Extra clips sold separately - Most of the attachments aren't particularly useful (I actually have the light on my Vulcan where it's somewhat more useful).
Highly recommendable for $20 if you just want to nerf people though. I find the streamline darts to be more effective for hitting people than the other types, so the lack of variety in types it accepts doesn't really bother me.
Nerf Cs-6 September 18, 2008 Pretty good toy. I'll be honest, I bought it for myself and was satisfied with what I got for the price. Stock is wobbly and bends left/right under pressure like I expected and the barrel extension may actually slow the dart.
But hey, its a toy and it was cheap. I got what I expected.
Done with the toy in under 5 minutes... September 6, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This gun needs to have a remodel. It looks like a cool style of gun, but it can trick you because the only way to possibly shoot it is to put the dart in front actually in the firing hole. The wort part about this gun is it's clip that you can store darts in can get completely jammed. If you try to get it out it is 2 out of 10 that you are gonna get it out. Most of the clip ons can be poorly made, especially the barrel extension to the gun. It was a humongous disappointment to me, because I love Nerf guns. This one is so getting returned.
My main gun, and my favorite September 2, 2008 This is defiantly the best Nerf gun ever (overall). It has a similar range to the Maverick (my sidearm), has lots of power, and it's accessories really do make it great. I love it's ammo, because they add to it's already high power. Like all Nerf guns, you have to be a little careful because it's not a war machine, but it holds up decently. It has a flip up sight to look through, clips, a barrel, a stock for extra clips, and a red dot sight/tactical light (can be turned up and down), and obviously, clips, which make things easier (if only clips/ammo weren't so expensive).... I would recommend this as a gift for any Nerfer, because in my opinion it's a great gun. Paired with a Longshot, Maverick, or Firefly, this is the ultimate weapon.
