I bought this for my son after seeing it sold out on the fisher-price web site- wasnt in stores yet- luckily as usual amazon came through. My son loves it!

The trailer does not detach. Lightning goes pretty fast, and automatically stops revving when it hits a wall. Car needed batteries, none included. Very durable and just the right size. Our children love the ramp feature and sending Lightning up and down the ramp.
