Product Description
While matching letters and pictures, players practice their ABC's with Thomas and Friends! A great game for beginners...everybody wins! Safe for toddlers...sturdy pieces and no small parts. The game features self-correcting pieces and many ways to play for all skill levels.
Editorial Review With all the fun of the heartwarming characters from Shining Time Station, this ABC game not only encourages beginning game-playing skills (fairness, taking turns), it boosts important prereading skills like memory and matching. Pairs of cards are designed as simple, self-correcting puzzles: one cardboard piece might picture Percy, with his name below; its mate would feature a capital P, also with the word Percy below it. Children can play with the cards as puzzles, or there are three different versions of gameplay that involve matching and pairing the cards. The game works well in a one-on-one setting, but is equally useful--and more fun--with a handful of children. An average game takes about 10 minutes. --Julie Ubben

My kids love this game January 26, 2002 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Both my 6 year old and 2 year old love this game (they are big Thomas fans). They play the game together, trying to find the letter that matches the picture and my 2 year old is already identifying and saying almost all the letters of the alphabet. Wonderful teaching toy. Some of the puzzle ends can get bent or ripped (I taped it back on). But, my kids play with it again and again.
