This little guitar is really awesome October 23, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This little guitar is really awesome, I bough two of them for my little brothers since the listen to me (I have a Electric Fender) and they wanna learn music, so its perfect for young starters (5 and 7 years old), this is a simple toy, make sure you give it to young boys, more than 10yo would be just boring... a real guitar would be better.
The amplifier is not needed, you can connect you computer speakers to it.
Guitar is a hit with Grandson and his Dad October 21, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This guitar was a gift for my Grandson who is 2 1/2. His Dad plays the guitar and he wanted to be a big boy like his Daddy. The guitar isn't just a plaything because they can both play and learn together.
The guitar was such a hit, I purchased another one for a little girl for Xmas this year and I know she will love it too.
Thanks for a guitar that was affordable, a good learning piece and something that will bring many hours of good fun - and not be in front of the TV!
Great TOY August 27, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got this for my 6 year old son and immediately it was a hit and my 3 year old son wanted it too. Before we had major fights, I got him 1 too. They both play with it and enjoy it. In fact the 3 year old daughter of a friend also got it . It is a good TOY, does not have strings. you strum on something which looks like strings. Has a volume control, which is great , else you can get fed up of the noise. It has 3-4 seletions, 1.learn where the display light goes on as the guitar plays a song ( for like 10-15 seconds ) and then you gotta try and remember it and play it ( it also has another button to select rock, pop indie and 1 more music type ). 2. Jam play your owm stuff. 3. bank, where it plays music and you can play on top of it. Cannot remember the 4th. But its great, the kids enjoy it. I do not know why they write its for kids above 10. I think these days a kid over 10 might not like it too much as by that time they want the real thing or the guitar hero stuff. Overall for 20 bucks or 27 with shipping its great. They show the msrp over at hasbro as 69, not worth that much but still its a fun guitar. They have a white one and a black one , the white one sold here for 27 and the blck for 42, don't know why, seems like one color is in demand .
Fun March 20, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My son got this for Christmas, he is only five, but he likes to "play" this. It is a great buy, has worked great so far, can't really tell how well it teaches you to play because he is more interested in jammin : ) Great sounds and great that it has a volume control.
My Nephew loves it January 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Easy to use, and fun. My nephew is three and he loves this. He jams out and really enjoys it. Now he can't use the learning features because he is too young but his father enjoys playing with it to. Great gift.
